At PTZ-Flow (“we,” “our,” or “us”), we value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data when you use the PTZ-Flow desktop application for macOS and Windows (“Software”) and our website https://ptzflow.com.

1. Data We Do NOT Collect

We believe in total privacy and data minimization.

  • No Video or Camera Data: The Software controls your PTZ cameras entirely locally on your network. We never access, stream, record, or store your video feeds, camera footage, camera passwords, or local network configurations.
  • No Analytics or Tracking: The Software does not contain any third-party tracking, telemetry, or usage analytics tools. We do not track how or when you use the Software.

2. Data Collected for License Validation

The only data transmitted by the Software is strictly for license verification purposes:

  • License Verification: When you activate or use the Software, it transmits your purchased License Key along with a hashed, anonymous device identifier (to ensure the license is not being used on more devices than permitted).
  • This validation request is processed securely to confirm your active subscription or purchase.

3. Purchases and Payment Data (Lemon Squeezy)

All sales are processed securely by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy.

  • When you buy PTZ-Flow, you provide billing details (name, email, and payment information) directly to Lemon Squeezy.
  • We do not store or have access to your credit card details. Lemon Squeezy provides us with your email address and purchase history solely for customer support and license management.

4. Data Retention and Security

The minimal license data we use is stored securely and only for as long as your license remains active. We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) for all data transmission.

5. Your Rights and License Deletion Consequences

Depending on your location (such as the EU/EEA under GDPR), you have the right to request the deletion of the personal data we hold about you (which consists solely of your email address and license key history).

  • Consequences of Deletion: Because your email and license key are strictly required to verify the authenticity of your purchase, requesting the deletion of this data will result in the immediate and permanent deactivation of your Software. You will no longer be able to use the Paid Version of PTZ-Flow.
  • No Refund for Data Deletion Requests: Choosing to exercise your right to delete your data does not bypass our standard Terms of Service. No refunds, chargebacks, or partial reimbursements will be issued if your license becomes unusable due to a user-requested data deletion.
